I teach journalism and new media at Towson University, where I write academic works on the history of journalism. I live in southeast Baltimore with my boyfriend and our two dogs. You can often find me hula hooping on the sidewalk or dancing at the historic Spanish ballroom in Glen Echo, Md. I love to read, write, cook and garden. I roast my own coffee beans and occasionally get lucky enough to brew a really good cup. Follow me online:

Hi. This isn’t really a reply so much as a note.
My name is Irene Rojas and I’m a journalism grad student at the Missouri School of Journalism (Mizzou), originally from Alexandria, VA. After looking at your website, I think you might be interested in talking with Jen Lee Reeves, the new media director at KOMU/Mizzou. I’ve worked with her before and you two seem to be on similar wavelengths.
Her blog: http://www.jenleereeves.com/

For what it’s worth, my blog is at http://blog.irenerojas.com.

Thanks, Irene. All the best to you as you finish up this semester of grad school.
